Q&A with me+Jared!

Hey hey! So I was thinking we should all properly welcome Jared to the blogging world with some questions and answers (something I've needed to do recently anyway). If you have a question for me, him or the both of us just click below and leave it in a comment, then we'll make a video answering all of the questions this weekend. And keep in mind that it doesn't have to be anything "couple" related. Blog and design questions are fair game as well as wanting Jared to show you his nerdy Star Wars tattoo (yep!).

I know "online dating" (even though we're real-life dating now) isn't something that's talked about a lot, but me and J completely embrace it and are really comfortable telling people about it. Plus I'm completely smitten with this fella and I don't think there's a nicer, kinder guy in existence. ....So I'm really pumped for y'all to meet him!

Can't wait to see what y'all come up with!! And happy valentine's day--if you're into that kinda thing!

Pretty excited about this new man in my life! The best news about him? I found him on the Internet (you remember that I started that online dating thing, right?). You can always find the best things on the Internet.

But yeah. This guy! I've been praying for years and years and years to find him. We just make sense. And after finally meeting it required almost no thought when deciding if we wanted to be together. It's natural and easy and awesome (you can vomit right now if you want to).

Oh yeah, and his name's Jared. He lives in Baton Rouge (Louisiana) so we're almost three hours apart (boooo). But sometimes we video chat and he's all like....sweet and stuff.

 And I'm all like.....not. But I do love Google Effects.

So he kind of ruined the online dating adventure column that I wanted to start (thanks dude), but perhaps he'll be a more interesting thing to update you guys on.

Adventures in online dating // 01

Okay, look. I'm the kind of gal that does what she can to get what she wants. Going on dates is in no way excluded from this. After failing to find quality guys to spend my time with the old fashioned way, I decided to try online dating. My roommate has been on okCupid for a couple of years now so that's the service I decided to go with too. I've been on there for all of one week and have met some characters! That, plus the fact that I don't take too many things very seriously has resulted in some pretty good times. Please read on to see what I mean (white boxes=him; blue boxes=me).

After this exchange I decided it'd probably be a nice humorous addition to my weekly postings on My Billie. Get ready for some fun times y'all!

*UPDATE: Someone commented anonymously that I was posting this guy's username and private messages without his consent, but he was okay with it guys! This message is obviously butchered together and some of the messages aren't included. If you're interested in his response to me sharing our message conversation online, his answer was "YOU'RE GOING TO MAKE ME FAMOUS". Which just makes sense, yes. : ) I appreciate your concern for protecting the innocent in this situation anonymous person!
