Color party: black + white

Somebody help me--I've got a serious problem when it comes to black and white! I think it's just because I love prints and texture so much. I really used to be all about color, especially when it came to wearing it. Then I started getting more and more tattoos and subconsciously started gravitating to almost exclusively wearing neutrals. Which is a bit sad, I'll admit. I love bright and crazy colors and patterns on tattooed people, just not for me I guess. And now my obsession with wearing black and white neutrals has crossed into my space decorating. These two colors just really lend themselves to a great graphic-like quality that can say so much on their own.

// I've been so impressed with the amount of character that a lot of really successful bloggers+designers have. Some of my more recent heroes include bri + bre. What great role models these two girls have been! You know, I once entertained the idea of working in the fashion industry but was really turned off by the idea of how "cut throat" and "catty" it can be. Shows like Project Runway (one of my faves, despite what I'm telling you right now) only add to this. I want to be a part of an uplifting, creative and inspiring industry. A year ago I didn't even know what that was going to look like for me. I have so much hope that I'm doing the right thing and am so thankful that this field already has wonderful leaders in it.
